Well we are full of absolutely pointless post huh? lol anywho i guess I should continue where I left off!

Jada
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I looked into his eyes. Toru had left so we were in the same room together, alone.
"How, why do you know this?" I looked at him for any facial recognition between him and the small boy that we found that long time ago, adrift.
"Jada I have drempt of our re-meeting for a time now."
"I hardly remember you."
"You remember my birds that is all that matters."
"How can I know for sure it is truely you."
"Maybe this will remind you."
He looked in to my eyes and slowly put his hand in mine and held me close. The rough texture of his cheek against the smoothness of my was off but his scent was the same.
"Your name was Handrel if I remember correctly, why did u change?"
"Have you ever met a captain named Handrel. Boys at the dock would laugh me out of buisness if they knew my real name. Now why would such a good wholesome girl like you be going to an awful place like Serria Leone?"
"First off I am not as "wholesome and good" as I appear, second my compainion he is looking for his sister," I pulled out the piece of paper, "This has led us thus far."
"Let me see that!"
He grabbed it got an evil look on his face. And ran in the direction of the stern.
Well... you kind of ended that post at a place I can't really continue it since it has to do with your chara, but I'll post anyhow.
Toru
===================
Their talk was boring me. So I left. As I stood, their eyes had turned towards me, and I bowed deeply several times, apologizing, and excused myself. I climbed the stairs to the deck, taking a place at the railings. The sea was calm and beautiful. There was slight movement of the sailors above deck, but not enough to disturb the silence.
Yet another leg of my journey had begun, yet another chapter to be written. I wondered whether she would be much changed if I found her. Would her mind still wander in mid sentence, her temper heighten without expectation, her eyes see what wasn't there. They were quirks, yes. But they were quirks I had grown up with, learned to love.
I do not know how much time had passed, just staring out at the glistening ocean. I glanced back when I heard footsteps behind me. A dirty sailor of a cheery disposition stopped, raising a finger in greeting. In a strained, horribly non-Japanese accent, he said,
"Konban wa."
I spun around, a smile growing on my face. "You speak Japanese! What is your name? How do you know the language? Have you ever been?"
The rapid fire of excited questions made the young man's face fall slightly in confusion. He shrugged apologetically, waving his hands to show he knew no more. He raised three fingers and, as he pointed to each, said a different phrase:
"Konban wa, chiisai, kasa."
The oddest combination of words to know in a language, I thought, for they meant, "Goodnight, little, and umbrella," respectively. I laughed and added for good measure, pointing to one finger, "Oui."
He thought that was very funny, and clapped me on the shoulder. Hard. I stumbled, he thought that was funnier and offered his hand.
"Grégoire," he said, pointing at himself.
"Toru," I replied in similar fashion, shaking his hand. He grinned widely, waved goodbye, and went off to finish whatever his original purpose had been in passing.
That was meaningless lol but I wanted to post so there. :P
